Mel's Auto didn't start in a shop — it started on the street, with Melvin working on cars out of his own vehicle, one job at a time. He believed that if you treated people right and did honest work, everything else would follow. That belief never wavered, even in the years before he had a place to call his own.

Alongside his wife, and with a lot of hard work and faith, Melvin was finally able to open the doors to what would become Mel's Auto. It's been a family business ever since — built on the same values he started with all those years back: reliability, honesty, and treating every customer like they matter.

Thirteen years later, that spirit is still at the heart of everything we do. Every car that comes through our doors gets the same care and respect Melvin gave his very first customer — because to us, this has never just been a job. It's family.
